Beyond the sole

One of my clients recently asked for help developing a logo for a shoe retail business he's starting. The name is Beyond the Sole. Using various social media, he dives into the quality, design, and history of the shoes he sells. His initial idea was basically a blown up version of the shoe into parts like you would see on a blueprint. After doing some thumbnail sketches, and assessing the ways he plans to use his logo, we came to a final product that fits his needs a little better considering he plans to produce printed materials using it.
